Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). 2. Add flours, sea salt, cardamom, baking powder, rose buds, and turbinado sugar to your Thermomix bowl. Mix for 5 seconds on speed 6 to blend evenly. 3. Add cold butter cubes. Gradually increase speed to 5 and mix for about 10 seconds or until the butter resembles tiny crumbs. Transfer to a large mixing bowl. 4. In a separate bowl, whisk together heavy cream, egg, and vanilla extract. 5. Wash and dice the peach into 1/8" (3mm) cubes. Add to the flour mixture in the large bowl. 6. Pour the cream mixture into the large bowl and gently fold until it forms a cohesive dough. 7. On a lightly floured surface, pat the dough into a circle about 1/2 inch (1.5cm) thick. 8. Cut into desired shapes. For ~8 scones, use a 2" (5cm) circular cutter. 9. Place scones on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Brush tops with remaining cream mixture, then sprinkle with turbinado sugar and additional rose buds. 10. Bake for 22-25 minutes, or until golden brown. Allow to cool on a wire rack before serving. ## Chef's Notes - For a more pronounced rose flavor, steep 1 tablespoon of dried rose buds in the cream for 30 minutes before using. Strain before adding to the recipe. - The Thermomix ensures even distribution of ingredients and perfect butter incorporation, key for achieving that ideal scone texture. - These scones freeze well. Make a double batch and freeze half for future enjoyment! Serve these Peach Rose Scones warm with clotted cream and peach preserves for a truly indulgent breakfast or afternoon tea. The combination of juicy peaches, fragrant rose, and warming cardamom makes these scones a perfect summer treat! ## Get in Touch or Shop Thermomix Have questions about Thermomix care or recipes?
