Spread cherry mixture in the center, leaving a 1-1.5 inch (3-4cm) border. 11. Fold the edges of the dough over the filling, pleating as you go. 12. Bake for 30-40 minutes, until crust is golden and filling is bubbling. 13. Cool for 10 minutes before serving. ## Chef's Notes - For an extra-flaky crust, ensure all ingredients are very cold before mixing. - The Thermomix makes quick work of pitting cherries: simply remove stems, halve cherries, then use the spatula to remove pits while chopping. - If Rainier cherries aren't available, substitute with sweet cherries or a mix of sweet and tart cherries. - Brush the crust with egg wash before baking for a glossy finish. Serve this galette warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream for a delightful summer dessert that perfectly balances sweet and tart flavors. ## Get in Touch or Shop Thermomix Have questions about Thermomix care or recipes?
