# Homemade Pizza #italian #friday-night-fun #thermomix #pizza #pizza-dough #easy-dinner-idea _Published October 13, 2024_ Elevate your pizza game with this foolproof Thermomix homemade pizza recipe. Create a perfect, elastic dough and top it with your favorite ingredients for a customizable family dinner that rivals your local pizzeria. ## Ingredients - 2.2 lbs (1 kg) wheat flour - 2.5 cups (600 g) warm water - 2 tbsp (30 g) salt - 1 tsp (5 g) yeast - Olive oil for greasing - Your favorite pizza toppings (e.g., pepperoni, shaved onions, mushrooms, mozzarella, pecorino, sun-dried tomatoes, dried red pepper flakes) ## Instructions 1. Add flour, warm water, salt, and yeast to your Thermomix bowl. Mix and knead for 3 minutes on Dough setting until the dough is elastic and uniform. 2. Transfer the kneaded dough to a large bowl, cover with a cloth, and let it rise for about 30 minutes at room temperature. 3. Divide the risen dough into 8-10 portions, each weighing about 9-10.5 oz (250-300 g). Place them on a lightly oiled surface, ensuring adequate space between each portion. Cover with a damp cloth and leave at room temperature until the dough doubles in volume. 4. On a floured surface, roll out each portion of risen dough into a round shape, approximately 10-11 inches (25-28 cm) in diameter. 5. Place each rolled-out dough on a baking tray lined with parchment paper. Add your favorite toppings. Our family favorite calls for pepperoni, shaved onions, thinly sliced mushrooms, mozzarella, sprinkled pecorino, sun-dried tomatoes, and a sprinkle of dried red pepper flakes. 6. Bake the pizza in the lower part of a preheated oven at 465-500°F (240-260°C) for 5-8 minutes, or until the crust is uniformly browned. At hotter temperatures, ovens have very high cooking deviations - it may take up to 20 minutes for everything to fully cook, especially depending on the temperature of the toppings and how high you layer them. ## Chef's Notes - Use the Thermomix to quickly shred cheese, slice vegetables, or blend custom pizza sauces for endless topping variations. - For a crispier crust, preheat a pizza stone in the oven before baking. - Experiment with different flour types like whole wheat or semolina for unique flavor profiles. - Leftover dough can be frozen for future use. Simply thaw in the refrigerator overnight before using. Serve your homemade pizza hot from the oven, paired with a crisp green salad and your favorite beverage for a delightful family dinner. ## Get in Touch or Shop Thermomix Have questions about Thermomix care or recipes?
